How it works
The hardest question for anyone learning English is not what it costs — it is where to start. That is why the journey opens with placement, and every step after it has an order you can see.
A free adaptive test in the browser, in about ten minutes, with your Lingo4all account. It tells you where you are today and brings you back to the Academy with a recommendation.
The result names your entry level and what comes next — a suggestion, not a sentence.
You join the Master at your level: Units in sequence, each one preparing the next.
In every Unit you read, listen, practise, write and speak. No loose videos.
Auto-marked exercises, plus productions assessed against criteria you read before you submit.

Every Unit says what you will be able to do by the end and how long it asks for. Then comes the usual order:

The Lesson presents what the Unit teaches — examples in English with support in Portuguese — and just enough to practise right after. Reading it counts as completed once you open it; the proof that you learned comes in the activities.

The task asks for 30 to 45 seconds of speech with a clear script. The recording stays in your submission and is listened to and commented on against written criteria — pronunciation, fluency, accuracy, task fulfilment and completeness.

Listening uses audio at a natural pace and, early on, a slow version too. Questions ask for the idea, not the isolated word — and marking is immediate.

At A1, three to four sentences introducing yourself. At B2, a one-page written position before a meeting. At every level the text is assessed against criteria — vocabulary, accuracy, organisation, spelling and task fulfilment.

The transformation
Every level is described by what you can do at the end of it — that is how the international scale measures language, and how you notice you have moved on.

Aligned to the CEFR. The programme follows the structure and descriptors of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The CEFR is an international reference scale, not a body that certifies courses — Lingo4all Academy aligns its programme to it and issues its own completion certificates at eligible levels.
Programmes
The level ladder is the heart of the Academy. Everything else exists to reinforce what it teaches — and is presented for what it is today, not for what it may become.
Four published levels, one after the other, with C1 in launch. This is where you read, listen, speak, write and are assessed — and it is what every plan includes. Support material and instructions are in Portuguese and English; the platform interface is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Guided exercises that accompany the core programme and keep the language in use between one Unit and the next. They do not replace the levels — they lean on them.
Today, guided practice by topic for learners at B1 or above. They are not complete programmes yet, and this page does not sell them as such.
Included in the Master plan. New programmes join the subscription as they are published.
One ecosystem
Two parts of the same Lingo4all. In the Academy you follow the programme and are assessed; in Play you practise by playing — eight browser games, no account, no install and no cost, on the same level scale.
Inside, in numbers
Nothing invented: what the Academy has to show is the product itself. The numbers below were measured on the platform, across the four published levels.

At B1 and B2, every skill has input, controlled practice, free practice and the assessed piece — and the level closes with checkpoints, a mock and a final exam.

Plans
Fluente is the complete core programme. Master adds every course, complementary practice and whatever Lingo4all publishes during the subscription, for up to two people. Family is Master for up to five people, each with their own journey. Teaching support is in Portuguese and Spanish today — see the questions below before you decide.

Questions
You will speak. Every Unit has at least one speaking activity recorded inside the platform itself, plus pronunciation labs. The recording is listened to and commented on against written criteria.
Listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar exercises are marked automatically and immediately. Speaking and writing are assessed with rubrics — the criteria you read before you submit — and receive feedback inside the activity.
Every Unit states its estimated workload (four to eight hours, depending on the level) and each level adds up to roughly 95 to 130 hours. It is an estimate to help you plan, not a deadline: the environment stays available for you to study at your own pace.
There is no universal timeline, and the Academy does not promise one. What it guarantees is the structure: a measured starting point, an ordered path, and each level evidenced by what you can do.
Not yet. The Academy teaches English with support in Portuguese and Spanish today: the platform interface is available in English, but lesson explanations and task instructions are written in Portuguese and English. The level test itself is in English. If either support language works for you, the programme is open now; otherwise, join the waiting list and we will tell you when that changes.
Yes. The environment works in the browser on phone, tablet and computer, including the speech-recording activities. The Lingo4all app for the plans is planned for launch.
Completion is recorded activity by activity, and the certificate is issued by Lingo4all Academy itself at eligible levels — today, A1 and A2. It is not an official certification from an external body, and issuance is being extended to levels as they are published.
Yes. The level structure, the competence descriptors and the assessment criteria follow the Common European Framework of Reference. The CEFR is a reference scale, not a body that certifies courses.
The cancellation policy is part of the commercial terms being finalised, and it will be published on this page, alongside the plans, before enrolment opens. No payment is taken today: the form only records your interest.
Your study history, submissions and marks stay in your account. Suspending access does not erase progress. Rules on timing and reactivation will be published with the plan terms.
